As a two-time James Beard-nominated chef and the culinary director of Cambridge Street Hospitality Group, Will Gilson is the genesis and life force behind Amba, inspired by his lifelong experience tasting and working with fresh Levantine ingredients and foods and absorbing their foodways. At Amba, he aims to redefine hospitality-oriented fast-casual dining for the Camberville neighborhood.

ERICA SUÁREZ

Lead Barista

Bringing many years of experience behind coffee bars to the table, Erica Suárez leads Amba’s front-of-house barista team with a steady and empathetic hand, working tirelessly to curate a warm, inviting environment for its patrons and on ideating for and always optimizing Amba’s beverage program, which focuses specifically on pulling inspiration from ingredients & traditions of the Mediterranean.

ALTAMASH GAZIYANI

Café & Market Manager

Altamash Gaziyani started his career in kitchens before pivoting to bartending and various front-of-house and management positions in Boston for a decade. For Amba, he contributes towards day-to-day café and marketing operations, working hand in glove with Érica on beverage concepts, in addition to running events and markets over at Amba’s sister space, First Street Market.
